We held an open online casting. The role of Hamlet had the following breakdown "Hamlet - Professional actor aged over 18" and that was it. Our cast includes actors aged 22-77, of varied ethnicity backgrounds and nationalities.

Sharon Singh

Sharon Singh recently graduated from the Birmingham School of Acting where she was awarded the Sir John Gielgud Bursary Award. Recent credits include; Lavinia (Titus Andronicus, Greenwich Theatre), Jennifer (The Misanthrope, Ecole Supérieur), Sabiya Kabir (Doctors, BBC) & Erin (Holes, The Arcola Theatre).

Max Calandrew

Max Calandrew was born in Nottinghamshire and at the age of 14 was made a member of the prestigious Carlton Television Workshop. He graduated from the Manchester School of Theatre with a BA in Acting and since then has performed in numerous stage productions at venues such as The Royal Exchange (Nineteen Eighty Four, Single Sex, Galka Motalka), The Lowry Theatre (The Daughter in Law), Southwark Playhouse (You Can Still Make a Killing) and has worked with top theatre directors such as Matthew Dunster, Sarah Frankcom, Braham Murray, Chris Honer, and Mark Babych. Max made his directorial debut in 2015 when he co-directed, produced and performed in a four star production of Peter Brook's The Man Who at The Bussey Building. Most recently he finished filming the feature film 'Servants Quarters' which is due for release mid 2016.

Izabella Urbanowicz

Izabella Urbanowicz trained at RADA. Theatre credits include: THE SESSION (Soho Theatre), EUGÉNIE GRANDET (Edinburgh Fringe Festival), OTHELLO (Bussey Building), WHAT YOU WILL: POP UP SHAKESPEARE (Shakespeare’s Globe), TRUTH AND RECONCILIATION (Royal Court Theatre). Television credits include: SPOTLESS (Canal Plus/Tandem Communications); TITANIC (Deep Indigo/ITV); DOCTORS (BBC); THE CRIMSON PETAL & THE WHITE (BBC/Origin Pictures). Radio credits include: THE ARCHERS (BBC Radio 4)

Pete Collis

Theatre includes: King Charles III (Wyndham's Theatre), national tours of Absent Friends and Betrayal for London Classic Theatre; Olga's Room (Arcola), The Syndicate (Chichester Festival Theatre), Blue/Orange (Greenwich Playhouse), The Woman Who Cooked Her Husband (MAC),  and numerous Shakespearean productions including the title roles of Hamlet, Macbeth, and Henry V. He was a founding member of Shakespeare Aloud! for Shakespeare’s birthplace trust. Television includes: Historyonics (BBC) and Henry VII (Cromwell Productions)

Diana Gomez

Diana Gómez was born in Barcelona, where she trained at Eòlia School of Performing Arts. Since her debut on stage at 15 with Esthetic Paradise, she performed in several plays including La ruina, Terra Baixa and La Ciutat by Martin Crimp. TV credits include El crac, Las aventuras del capitán Alatriste or El secreto de Puente Viejo, Sé quién eres, Habitaciones Cerradas and Barcelona, ciutat neutral. Movie credits include Eloïse, Pecados, L'Altra Frontera and Las altas presiones. Recently she shot the movie El virus de la por, directed by Ventura Pons, with whom she had worked on another movie, Any de Gràcia.

Daniel Rusteau

Daniel attended Anna Scher’s Drama School from an early age, and after graduating with a degree in Theatre Arts from Derby University he continued his theatrical education at Identity Drama School. His credits include the features ‘Betsy and Leonard’ (Iron Box Films) and ‘Heartstrings’ (Sixty-Six Productions) and award winning TV series “Brother’s With No Game” (London Live). Daniel is also a writer who's penned and produced three fringe theatre shows, written and created the multi-award nominated web series 'Wedding Dates' and written and directed the award nominated short film 'Blighty:BFF'.

Eva Savage

Eva Savage trained at Drama Studio London. Her credits include Lucky in Waiting for Godot and Sybil Vane in The Picture of Dorian Gray (European Arts Company), mulitple roles in The Adventures of Sherlock Holmes and The Jungle Book (Chapterhouse Theatre Company) and have taken her from The Royal Court to Teatro alla Scala in Milan. She is also an accomplished voiceover artist, most recently voicing ads for Hotpoint and Intel.

Gil Sutherland attended Webber Douglas Academy as an LCC Scholarship student, graduating with The Rodney Millington Spotlight Award for outstanding performances. Over the past 49 years he has worked in every branch of the profession with prestigious companies such as the Cambridge Theatre Company, Oxford Playhouse, and the English Shakepeare Company. Most recently he appeared in three feature films; Two Down, A Miss in her Teens and POV as well as appearing in Blind Eye at Theatre 503, Almost the Birthday Party by Paul Kalburgi at the Etcetera Theatre and Rusty Pineapple with the Equilibrium Co at the So & So Arts Club.

Pia Lanciotti

Pia Lanciotti trained at Piccolo Teatro Di Milano School Of Theatre. Theatre credits include The Devils (F. Dostoyevsky), The Seagull (A. Chekov), The Miser (Molière), As You Like It, Richard III, The Tempest, Macbeth, and Hamlet. Pia’s film credits include Summer In Winter directed by Davide Sibaldi (for which she won best performing actress in a leading role at  the International Indi Film Festival in Paris and The maremetraggio Film Festival in Trieste), and Alza La Testa  directed by Alessandro Angelini. She has appeared on a number of television shows, including Montalbano,  La Monaca Di Monza , Rossella, Terapia D’urgenza, Fiore E Tinelli  for Disney, Affari Di Famiglia and Papablog  for Switzerland TV (RTSI), and Il Vicino Di Casa , Catturandi.


Anthony Green is an actor director and producer. Anthony directed Othello Peckham in 2013 and is thrilled to be directing Hamlet. His acting career has seen him play series leads in London’s Burning, The Bill, Cadfael and The Scarlet Pimpernel and many guest leads. Films include The Bourne Identity and James Bond: Tomorrow Never Dies. Theatre includes Blind Eye at Theatre 503.

Rachel is a prolific director of new writing on the London Fringe, working with writers, comedians and actors to hone material and delivery. As Time2Shine Productions she helps schools and community groups to devise original pieces, from concept to performance. Writing credits include ‘An Insomniac's Guide to Ambulances’, ‘Staffroom’, ‘Paying Attention’ and directing credits include ‘Mancunian Rhapsody’ by Debra Tammer (London run, tour, EdFringe), ‘Character’ by Florence Vincent (Leicester Square Theatre), and ‘Sleeping Truths Lie’ by Melanie Hunter (Tristan Bates Theatre). Rachel was part of the creative teams behind the 5* Othello Peckham and the Hampstead & Highgate Literary Festival, programming workshops and spoken word events, hosts comedy night ‘Upstairs at the Adam & Eve!’ and is a founder member of the So & So Arts Club.

Michael is a London based Theatre Designer, nominated for the OffWestend.com award for best set Designer 2015/16 for 'Proof' at the Tabard Theatre, Chiswick. Also a regular assistant to Olivier award nominated Morgan Large, Michael recently assisted on 'Love Me Tender'(UK tour), 'Xanadu the Musical'(Southwark Playhouse) and 'The Last Tango'(UK Tour).Other recent credits include: Straszny Dwor (POSK), Journeys End(Charles Cryer theatre), Halka (POSK),  City of Angels (St. Paul's School), RENT (Charles Cryer Theatre), Alfie the Musical (London College of Music), Just So (London College of Music), Xanadu the Musical (prop maker, Southwark Playhouse), The Last Tango (Accosiate Prop Supervisor, UK Tour)

Olivia trained at Mountview Academy of Theatre Arts gaining a first class honours in Technical Theatre specialising in design. Theatre credits include: The Picture House; Edinburgh Fringe 2012, The Devil Inside Him; The White Bear Theatre, 'Please Wait Patiently';Tabard Theatre, 'Jack & The Beanstalk'; TIE Tour, 'Sweeney Todd;The Demon Barber Of Fleet Street';  Twickenham Theatre (Winner of Best Off West End Production, What's on Stage Awards 2015), 'Spend, Spend, Spend'; The Union Theatre, 'Hello Again' workshop and full production; The Hope Theatre. Lighting Designer.						Adam King

Adam trained at Mountview Academy Of Theatre Arts graduating in 2010 with a BA (Hons) degree in Technical Theatre, specialising in Lighting. He was recently Assistant Lighting Designer to Neil Austin on Bend It Like Beckham (Phoenix Theatre) and continues to work as his assistant on current shows. Recent lighting designs include: Jacques Brel is Alive and Well and Living in Paris (Karamel Club), Hoods - The Musical and Billy (Bernie Grants Arts Centre), Sporting Stories Before Bedtime (Criterion Theatre), Leading the Witness and Dial ‘L’ for Latchkey (Upstairs at the Gatehouse), Stories Before Bedtime - Summer Time, Stories Before Bedtime - April Fool, Stories Before Bedtime - Twisted Love, Various Drama School Showcases (all at the Criterion Theatre).

Music.						Jonathan Cook

Jonathan trained in the world renowned Sarm West, Whitfield Street and Metropolis Studios and has been working in the music industry for over 25 years. His work has been used in numerous film, TV and stage productions, computer games (such as Deus et Machina 2) as well as commercial and corporate advertising. Jonathan also writes music which is added to libraries for use by other productions. Jonathan worked with Anthony on one of his first shows, It Had To Be You.

After the critically acclaimed, sold out and triple Offie Award Nominated Othello Peckham in 2013, Shakespeare Peckham return with Shakespeare at the CLF Theatre at The Bussey Building, this time tackling Hamlet head-on.

In this immersive staging the ensemble perform various roles, indeed Hamlet is played by three different actors.  The cast ranges from 22-77 years old and of varied ethnicities, backgrounds and nationalities.

We are giving fringe theatre goers an alternative interpretation and a chance to engage with the play in a more intimate way.

We are committed to making Shakespeare more accessible and relevant.

Marcello is an actor and professional fight director and registered BADC (British Academy of Dramatic Combat) combat instructor offering fight direction ,  to film,opera, tv and stage.He is the fight master at several established drama schools in London. He has worked in venues such as The Royal Albert Hall, Covent Garden Opera House , the West End , The Globe, Glynebourne Opera House to mention a few. He has also worked around Europe at theatres and Opera Houses in Spain , Italy, Norway and the Czech Republic. He has had the pleasure of working with some of the worlds bestfight directors and weapons specialists such as Mike Loades, Ric Sordelet, Richard Ryan and William Hobbs to name but a few.


Photography.						Ruth Bloch

Ruth Bloch is a classically trained pianist who performed internationally from childhood. She developed an interest in photography and made a dramatic career change to follow her new passion. Ruth's award winning photographs have appeared in newspaper and magazines, in print and online, as well as adorning walls all over the world. As well as theatrical images Ruth specialises in unique newborn portraiture and fine art photography.


Trailer Director Of Photography.						Daniel Allen

Dan is film Director, Writer and Editor.  His first short film 'END', won the 'Best Young Filmmaker' award at the Coca-Cola Cinemagic Film Festival in Belfast that year. He was awarded a bursary from the BFI in 2011 to produce a new short film 'The Dark and Light'. Since then Dan has produced numerous other short films and music videos which have been screened internationally. He is developing several feature screenplays and short fictional films.


Website, flyer and poster Design.						Richard Wade

Richard specialises primarily in website design and development. However, he has recently started taking an interest in graphic design projects. Richard started his own web design company in 2014 which focuses on developing ways of proving a high level of design, functionality and service at a much lower price point. His objective is to make good quality websites more affordable and achievable for individuals and small businesses.


Photography.						Lanre Makele

Lanre was born in Nigeria and grew up in London. He did a three year stint at the University of Liverpool studying a degree that he hardly uses and has no link to all the photography that he does today. Lanre lives in Peckham and is a Taurus.
